Coming Soon: Wanted

I was watching Iron Man when the trailer for Wanted was shown on the cinema's screen and I was rendered speechless. Yes, at last another movie worth waiting for from Universal Pictures directed by Timur Beckmambetov, starring Angelina Jolie.

The story:

Wesley Gibson. 25-year-old Wes was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut. Until he met a woman named Fox. After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits him into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his father's death by unlocking his dormant powers. As she teaches him how to develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself. Worth the Wait:

I'm really looking forward for this movie because I want to see how great their special effects would be, not to mention seeing assassins in action would be a treat ^__^ Plus Angelina Jolie plays the role of Wes' tutor making it more worth watching. Don't misunderstand, I am an Angelina fan when it comes to kick-ass movies ^__^ but other than that is a whole lot different story ^^ It airs on June 27, 2009 (well, that's what I've been told) so until then, I'll be waiting and keeping an eye for its premiere.^__^
